Time for the Important Things

Time for the Important Things

I have always been very time conscious and, for better or worse, a highly developed multi-tasker. In one of the many personality tests available, people are divided into either task or people oriented. I get to straddle the two – I’m a people-oriented tasker. People are the most important thing. People are Christ’s inheritance – the primary motivator for the restoration of all things!

How many of us have short-shifted time, energy or other resources with people in favor of something else? I know I’m raising my hand. His forgiveness is a very good thing!

Everything God planned was with His kids – with YOU in mind. That includes the call He has on our lives.

His Word says in Ephesians 1:17 – 18a (AMP)

18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!
19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you!

Fulfilling the call He has for you is all wrapped up in mining the wealth of inheritance inside you and others. Not only that, your call is all about mining the inheritance that you and others are.

Colossians 1:20 – 22 (TPT) says:

20 And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!
21–22 Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored,

Your call is a partnership with Him to release those purposes – bringing His treasure back to Him and being a conduit of wholeness and peace in every area.

The Mirror Bible commentary on verse 1 Corinthians 2:12 elaborates:

“Holiness equals wholeness and harmony of someone’s spirit, soul, and body. Our redemption is sanctioned in Him. He redeemed our identity, our sanity, our health, our joy, our peace, our innocence, and our complete well-being.”

You are a conduit of all that glory – all that revelation. You get partake of it and you get to share it! Now that call in your flavor is breathtaking. And Love is just the God to help you get there from right where you are!
