God is Love (1 John 4:8). And because Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are Love (and were Love before the foundation of the world), they had so much love that it spilled out into a race of the children of God.
Father God is a Lavish Papa
As a good Father, He has a lavish inheritance for His kids. Check this out!
16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”
17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has… – Romans 8:16-17 (TPT)
Wow!
Supernatural Empowerment
Assimilating this truth into our beings requires supernatural empowerment. This is brought out in Ephesians in multiple places. One of my favorite places can be found in Ephesians 3:
16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.
17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.
18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! – Ephesians 3:16-19 (TPT)
How does overflowing with the fullness of God sound to you? Yea, I vote for that!!!
Experiencing More of God
As much as we have experienced, there is always more, because He is a fathomless God! He is so fathomless, that we need His empowerment or enlightenment of the eyes of our hearts (or imaginations) to be able to start to grasp it. Paul said:
17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), 19 and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. – Ephesians 1:17- 19 (AMP)
Receiving the Hope of God’s Calling for You
So let’s receive that right now.
If you can’t pause at this moment, schedule some time to do so in your calendar right now.
Take a moment to let Holy Spirit minister to your imagination what He means with the hope of His calling for YOU. What is He revealing to you?
Perhaps He wants to reveal the riches of His inheritance that He has placed inside YOU. What is He showing you about this?
Or perhaps He wants to reveal to you that YOU are His vast treasure trove of inheritance – your value and worth. What are you getting here?
Perhaps He will reveal and unveil an area where His power is manifesting on your behalf. Take time to let Him minister His power and strength!
All of these are amazing and you can go back again and again and get more and more.
I encourage you to make this a personal time to receive intimately from Love Himself. He wants to unveil so much to you. He literally died so that was possible.
If you need some more help with this, by all means get my “Marked by Love” book or, if you already have it, go back to the “Love Encounter Breaks” to get more.
I’d love to hear what you are getting. I am believing for amazing things.
Love,
Catherine
